Frequently asked questions | Postage of items

All items listed on the website have the option to be posted anywhere in New Zealand. It is the seller’s choice on how much to charge for postage, or whether to allow tracked postage or standard postage.

The seller will select if the item has tracked postage or not. If you visit the individual item page you can see this on the right hand side included in the item details. All SafePay items have tracked postage, since we use the tracking code to confirm the item has been sent in order to release your payment to the seller.

You will see the postage cost listed beside a small truck icon on the search page for each item. This is added to the total automatically during checkout if you select to have the item posted.


A few things to note...

Make sure you check the item’s description before purchasing as there may be some specific details about the postage of the item. For example, a delay in the seller being able to post.

If you have any details about your postal address which the seller needs to know, make sure you message them directly via the website before or straight away after purchasing to let them know.
