Frequently asked questions | Picking up items

Some sellers will allow their item to be picked-up; this is optional for the seller. The item’s location is found on the individual item page in the item details. You can also filter just for listings in your specific area under the Delivery filter option on the item search page. Make sure you check the item’s location on the listing before purchasing via the pick-up delivery method.

You and the buyer will need to organize the exact location and time of pickup between yourselves. You can do this via website message with the seller once you have purchased the item (or before purchasing if you would like to check the details of pick up).

If you select to pick-up the item, the cost of postage (shown beside the item price on the website) will not be added to the total item price. You do not have to pay postage if you choose to pick up the item.


A few things to note...

Not all sellers will allow cash on pick-up as they do not want to risk a buyer not turning up to pay. Sometimes you will need to pay via bank deposit or debit / credit card, regardless of whether you are picking the item up or not.

Make sure you check the item’s description before purchasing as there may be some specific details about the pick-up of the item included here, which you may like to know before-hand.
